Gianne Albertoni (5 July 1981 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian model. She was discovered as a model when she was only 13 by the photographer, Sérgio Duarte. Four months later in Milan, she took the big fashion shows by storm like Versace, Armani, Prada, Fiorucci. At the age of 18 Gianne was the very first Terra Girl. She is modelling around the world and participates in fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York. In Milan she had some appearances for Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Armani. In New York she posed for famous photographers such as Bruce Weber, Mario Testino and Steven Meisel. She recently received some attention for her photo shoot in the British Magazine FHM.
She appeared in the Brazilian movie "Popstar" in 2000. In 2005, she also starred in the Brazilian TV series "Mandrake" as Gigi. [Wiki]

So, being my self a brazilian gives me something to speak about
Well, probably most of you noticed that a large part of our models and beautiful girls have european names
This is because we had lots and lots of immigrants during early 1900's, mostly german (south part of the country, Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande D Sul States) and italian (mid and southern states) therefore with all the mix going on, we had all these beautiful girls
And, by the way, the facts presented on her wikipedia article are true, by the time she was "discovered", the biggest local TV channel broadcasted a report about recently discovered models and she was featured, back then, she was even shown with her classmates
