I can actually picture some naive hopeful putting their pictures up in hopes that they MIGHT get EVERYONE to approve of their poses, hair, face, and body, regardless of the fact that even the most gorgeous women get ripped on here. The thought of that makes the laughter in my head grow louder, and when those naive hopefuls come back kicking and screaming about the BASTARDLY comments, it provokes my humor to the point where it cannot contain itself...... how can someone let a chance pass by where they can stick it to someone else in a completely unharmful, very funny way? The only thing that I’m going to say about tanning is: First off, i am tan, i get very dark, very fast, that’s the benefit of growing up in So Cal, and being on the beach all the time... So I can appreciate a tan; everyone’s opinion is obviously different on this topic, but the point is that if, lets say that Lisa S, didn’t tan, or didn’t have a tan and was a white ghost like Pamela, then people would be ragging that she needs a tan, or needs some sort of pigment. The point is that, either way, there is going to be people that think they should look the opposite of what they do and vise versa.

My husband can tan and I can't, so our daughter will have a nice mix in there. First and foremost, a lot of people check up on this site while they're at work and they have free time, and in my opinion (though it is a small one) having a JOB is a lot more meaningful and fulfilling than, what did you say, "[being] at the beach, shopping, partying". While we're on that point, are those three things truly what you define as having a life? Because if that's the case, that's more pitiable than what anyone thinks you might look like.
You're also assuming that, even if someone is just reading this site in free time at home, visiting the Bastardly and "going out" are mutually exclusive - which is simply not the case. It takes me about a grand total of 15 minutes to check up on posts and comment on them, which you might agree is not a huge drain on my time of the day.
Also, look at yourself - why is it that you keep coming back if indeed you have so many better things to do? It takes a lot more time to scour posts looking for your name and comment on them than it does to casually browse.
